About Karima McKenzie

I'm Karima McKenzie, the founder of Temples Are Sacred, where I leverage my experience as an educator and empowerment activist to promote mental wellness and personal growth. Currently serving as Vice Principal at Henry Snyder High School, my mission evolved through personal mental & physical health challenges, deepening my dedication to wellness. My focus is on mentoring women aged 18 and over, guiding them through their struggles with anxiety, depression, and self-doubt using the T.E.M.P.L.E.S. Method to foster self-acceptance and establish healthy boundaries. This approach helps build confidence and inner peace, empowering clients to unlock their full potential.

WEEK 1 - CHAPTER 1

Truth, Trauma, Trust & Train

Clients will take a deep look at their

traumatic experiences and analyze how these experiences have affected their lives.

WEEK 2 - CHAPTER 2

Exercise and Elevate


Clients will take a deep look at the

importance of exercise in their lives and elevate in the game of life.

WEEK 3 - CHAPTER 3

Meditate & Manifest


Clients will take a deep look at the

importance of meditation, focusing on the ability to quiet the mind & become one with themselves.

WEEK 4 - CHAPTER 4

Protection

Clients will learn the importance and power of self-protection. Whoever the God is of their understanding, they will be reminded of the power in speaking on the things they desire.

WEEK 5 - CHAPTER 5

Love & Learn

Clients will take a deep look at the

importance of unconditional love for self. We will discuss ways in which they can learn and practice self-love.

WEEK 6 - CHAPTER 6

Eat to Live

Clients will take a deep look at the

importance of eating healthy. We will discuss ways in which students can practice better eating habits.

WEEK 7 - CHAPTER 7

Smile, Speak, and Surround

Clients will take a deep look at the

importance of smiling and speaking their truth. We will also discuss what it means to surround themselves with like-minded people.

Assessment Measurements

In order to assess the measurement of the program a pre/post Qualtrics and/or Google surveys

will be presented to the participating students. The students will be expected to do weekly

journals regarding the topics of the week along with open discussions to share viewpoints.

Intended Impact of The Program

Clients will walk away with a T.L.V. learning experience, incorporated with the following:

1. Truth - A clear understanding of the truths about life.

2. Love - A deep-rooted sense of self-love, feeling encouraged, inspired, and empowered.

3. Vitality - A desire to live a healthier life.
